Thanks for joining me again for another layout for Spiegelmom Scraps DT!
Our theme this month is winter and our challenge is to use our tools to create our layouts. I’s so happy I have the chance to use my tools, I got new tools recently from We R Memory Keepers.
In this layout I’ll be using my Alphabet mini punch tool. I didn’t know at first how to use it, I just went ahead and used it without reading the instructions (not so smart LOL!) After few tries, I finally read the instructions and found the easy steps to make the mini alphas.
I used Crate Paper’s “Carousel” collection designed by Maggie Holmes. I love this collection, it has lots of embellishments related to theme parks. This collection was great use to my photo, which was taken in a circus.
Once I got the collection, I knew I had to save all embellishments that related to circus for this photo.
For my title I used words ” So Fun” from the chipboard stickers and place it above my title “Circus” (which I made with my mini alpha punch tool!)
I outlined the word “Circus” so it was visible to the eye.
I pierced holes through the work and sew through them this yellowish floss. I tried doing this chain sewing technique, I like how it turned out.
For embellishments I used chipboard and puffy stickers and embellishments from the “Carousel” collection.
This is my process video:
