I’m back with another layout using Hip Kits! I still have tons of scrapbook supplies from the kits I received. I’m currently working with my September and August Kits.
In this layout I’ll be using mainly the “Willow Lane” collection by Crate Paper designed by Maggie Holmes. This is a really fun collection full of cute illustrations, florals and butterflies!
I started by fussy cutting all the beautiful butterflies in “Flutter” pattern paper, then I stick behind them a piece of vellum. I stitched through both pieces to glue them together.
For my background I used Shimmerz (Frost bite, Pretty in Pink, Razzeldazzle Berry, Oakie blue and Blue jeans) to make colorful splatters. Once it got dried, I cut from a little bit from each edge of the page and used “”Sweet Rose” pattern paper to place behind it.
and finally stitched around using my sewing machine.
I started placing and sticking down my butterflies to make a half circle frame on the left and right side of the layout.
In the middle of the layout I started playing with my title. I used the “Cheerful”, “Twilight” and from the Indigo Hills 2 collection by Pinkfresh Studio- the puffy alpha stickers.
To embellish I used the foam sticker, sticker sheet, washi tapes and embellishment pack from the collection. I added as well some enamel dots from the “Indigo Hills 2” collection.
To frame my photo I used one of the frames that were in the “Indigo Hills 2” collection.

I’m back with another layout I made using my Hip Kits 🙂
I used mostly Pinkfresh Studio’s “Indigo Hills” collection, I really love this collection
it has a great variety of watercolor patterns- lots of blues and purples.
This was an easy and fast layout to make,. The pattern I used has a beautiful watercolor floral background and thought that this was perfect for my picture and doesn’t need a change.
Because the background is beautiful, I didn’t want to cover it too much. I used this huge chipboard round frame to frame my picture.
For embellishments- I added this beautiful dimensional butterflies from Jen Hadfield and added few rub ons from Pinkpaislee.
For my title I used the word ” Moments” from Crate Paper’s puffy sticker that came in the September kit. I added the clear sticker word “Lovely” from Crate Paper as well.
I felt I needed to add something in the bottom of the layout, I added this cute blue fringe under the frame from Crate Paper and few more clear stickers.
Here is my process video:
Thanks for joining me today!
Today I want to share set of 10 cards I made for Christmas. I used Hip kit’s Christmas collection embellishment pack from last year and Pinkfresh Studio’s “December day” collection puffy stickers.
I used different pattern papers that were in the Hip Kits December kits last year. They work great with the embellishments I used.
I made mini cards which were so easy to make and fast! So if you need a christmas card fast, I’d made this mini cards!
I made this cards all in the same size 4″ X 2.5″ starting with heavy weight cardstock and then cut the pattern paper just a little bit smaller than the size I mentioned and paste it on the cardstock. I added to every card white stitching to add texture and glittery pink enamel dots to add more detail.
Here is a closeup of the cards.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Hello there 🙂
Today I’m sharing a fun project I made using deco cream, it’s like a whipping cream but for crafts (not edible!). I found this amazing cream on Sophie and Toffee,
you can find there really cool stuff, like resin, slime and more from Japan and there are lots of tutorials on Youtube on how to create fun projects with those stuff! I highly recommend you to check it!
This is was was my first time using deco cream, but it was easy to use- it really feels like frosting on your cake. it takes about 24 hours for the cream to harden (depends on how much you apply on your project), this was my time to add some embellishments!
I added enamel dots, butterflies, beads, wood veneer- anything that was cute and fun.
Most of the products came from my Hip kits (I Still have so much to work with, YEY!!!)
I used a really cheap frame from IKEA, this was great platform to work with.
Once I finished embellishing the frame and its stand, I waited a day for it to harden.
Then I started creating my pages for the album, this album is all about our short trip to Verona two months ago. This project is great for documenting small and short adventures. I mixed different pattern papers in different sizes and stitched each page to add texture.
To attach the pages I used 2 album rings and voila we finished the album.
Here is a short clip of showing you how I added the deco cream and how in the end the album looks like:
Thanks for joining me and I hope you feel inspired to try something new!
I know it’s been a while since I wrote blog post, I took a long break from scrapbook to take care of myself and just do other stuff. I think we all need to take a break sometimes, we live in a world today where you’re expected to work fast and just do the same thing over and over again without thinking (at least that’s how I see it). I was in this crazy routine of work, scrap, sleep, eat, hangout sometimes but didn’t get actually to breath a little bit and just do nothing. So that’s what I did most this time- just nothing and exploring different stuff that interested me. After this break, I was able to come back and scrap and just create again in my happy place 🙂
So after that long intro to why I was gone… it’s time to share a fun layout I made using my Hip kits- because I didn’t scrap for a long time, I have so many scrap book stuff to play with (yup, I didn’t cancel my subscription while I was on break) and it was overwhelming (in a good way :)) once I started opening the kits.
In this layout, I used the exclusive cut file from the Hip kit store, I love the heart wreath and thought it will be great for my autumn picture. I cut it on orange cardstock (which is a risky choice, since I don’t like orange) and tried to make it work in my layout. I used scraps of pattern paper I had to back the cutfile and drew on top of the cutfile using my Gelli roll pens to add more detail.
For my background, I used this beautiful watercolor with florals from Pinkfresh Studio.
I framed my picture using one of the frames pack from Pinkfresh Studio. I added 3 washi strips from “Willow” collection by Crate paper and stitched them to the background using my sewing machine.
And last thing I did was to embellish! (my favourite part)- I used mostly embellishments from the “Willow” collection by Crate paper. I used the foam stickers and carstock stickers- I really love the colors and texture they add to the layout.
Here is my layout 🙂
Thanks so much for joining me today!
Happy Saturday! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. This is my layout for the Spiegelmom Scraps DT. I used Pinkfresh Studio and Crate Paper products.
I strated by fussy cutting arrows from a pattern paper from Pinkfresh Studio ‘ Escape the Ordinary’ collection.
I used another pattern paper from Pinkfresh Studio ‘ December Days’ to be my background, I place the arrows to point my picture.
After placing the arrows I stitched through them using my sewing machine to hold them in place. I used the frame from Crate Paper ‘ Good Vibes’ Collectio to frame my photo.
For the embellishment I used Vicki Boutin Water color stickers, Pinkfresh Studio enamel Dots and stickers from Crate Papers.
Here is the list of products I used:
Crate Paper ‘Good Vibes’ Sticker sheet, chipboard sticker
Pinkfresh Studio enamel dots
Vicki Boutin Watercolor Stickers
Pinkfresh Studio ‘Escape the Ordinary’ pattern paper ‘Christmas Lights’

This is layout is for the Spiegelmom Scraps DT, I used lots of pretty sequins!
My concept for this layout was to create a chandelier sequins that will be on top of my photo.
I started with a pink cardstock and draw with a pencil the lines where I’ll be placing my sequins.
And here comes the part where I sit for about an hour and a half on sticking each sequins.
After I mades sure the sequins were in their place, I started embellishing!
I used this cute frame to frame my photo from the ‘Good Vibes’ collection by Crate Paper and added more using the sticker sheet and chipboard and ephemera pack.
I finished the layout by stitching few lines in the bottom of the layout and added cluster of embellishment in the right side.
These are the products I used:
Mini wood grain
Unicorns & Rainbows
In the New Year
-Crate Paper ‘Good Vibes’ chipboard sticker and frame
-Dear Lizzy ‘Star Gazer’ Sticker sheet
– Pinkfresh Studio ‘ The mix’ Stitched Stars
– Vicki Boutin Watercolor Stickers
-Prima Metallic accents watercolor
