I chose to make strings using different sequins, I wanted it o have different shapes and sizes. Spiegelmom scraps has lots of sequins in different shapes and in lovely colors. My color theme for this layout is PINK!
This is the list of sequins I used:
– mini sequins- pink shells
– Salt of the earth
– Water lilies
– On pointe
For the background I used textured white cardstock and played with my mists to create this pinkish mix media look.
I used Heidi swapp: color shine pink and bronzer, Prima: color bloom tangerine, Shimmerz colorings: pink stilletos, pretty in pink and acritonez: pinkadelic and for the final touch I used Mister huey’s white mist.
I wanted to create banners so I can adhere the strings of sequins on top.
I used papers from 6×6 paper pad Pinkpaislee “Oh my heart” and Crate paper ” Hello love”.
I thought that I was finish with the layout, but I knew something was missing… embellishments!
So to embellish my layout I used my stash, since I have so many!!! I need to use them when I can on my layouts.
and this this the result>>>
